The Conscious Natural Lifestyle: Philosophy & Praxis

The Outer Work portion of the As Within — So Without program

Everything you've been taught about disease is either incomplete or a flat-out lie.

What if your body wasn't doomed to be in pain and discomfort — what if it’s just out of balance? And what if you already had everything you needed, both within and around you, to restore it?

There's a reason you're still searching.

You've tried the diets. You've seen the doctors. You've read the articles, only to find the next contradicts the last. And still, something feels off. Not just physically, but in your understanding of what health even is.

Conventional medicine is extraordinary in a crisis. But for the chronic, the degenerative, the why do I still feel this way — it often falls short. It masks symptoms. It manages conditions. But it rarely asks the deeper questions:

What is the root cause of my imbalance?
What can I do to correct it?
How can I remove the conditions of dis-ease from my body?
What methods, in alignment with Nature, will help reestablish balance?

Nature Cure asks these questions.

A system older than modern medicine — and more relevant than ever.

Nature Cure is not a trend or an alternative fad. It is a coherent, time-tested philosophy of health refined through more than a century of naturopathic practice — one that predates the pharmaceutical industry and has quietly outlasted dozens of medical fashions.

Its premise is simple, and it will change the way you see everything:

The body is always trying to heal itself. Disease is not an enemy to be defeated — it is a language of symptoms trying to tell you something. With enough practice, we can learn to understand this language.

But knowing isn't the same as living it.

Most natural health education gives you information without giving you a system. It tells you what to do but not how to build it into a life that actually works. It gives you the philosophy without the practice — or the practice without the philosophy.

This course gives you both.

Part One lays the intellectual and philosophical foundation — the why behind every natural health practice you've ever encountered, and many you haven't. Part Two translates that foundation into a living, embodied system of six therapeutic practices you can begin applying immediately.

Together, they form something neither could offer alone: a complete picture, from understanding to living.

What happens when you stop forcing your way through life:

Most people approach healthy living through effort and discipline — and then feel like failures when it doesn't stick. But discipline alone was never the answer.

What actually creates lasting change is understanding — knowing why each practice works, how it fits into a larger system, and what your body is telling you when it responds. When you have that, healthy living stops feeling like a battle you’re constantly losing and starts feeling like a natural way of life.

That shift, from fear to understanding, from confusion to clarity, from managing symptoms to addressing causes, from lethargy to health, strength and vigor is what this course is designed to give you. Not another thing to force. A way of living you'll actually want to return to, because it feels natural.

What you will uncover inside the course:

Part One — The Philosophy of Natural Living

The intellectual foundation of everything that follows. You'll explore the foundational laws and principles of Nature Cure, the Holistic Model of the Human Organism, and the concept of biological terrain — a powerful framework for understanding your inner environment, your intrinsic connection with Nature, and why healing is, at its deepest level, a spiritual process.

This is the module that gives you the why behind every natural health practice — and makes the how make sense.

You'll walk away with:

  • A grounded understanding of the 3 core principles of Nature Cure and the Laws of Nature

  • An understanding of Biological Terrain and the true function of germs

  • Clarity on how your mental and emotional states directly shape your physical health

  • An understanding of how Dis-ease forms — and how to re-establish ease

Part Two — The Conscious Natural Lifestyle: The Praxis

The early Nature Cure practitioners identified six foundational facets of a natural therapeutic lifestyle. This module walks you through five of them — not as abstract ideals, but as practical, embodied tools you can begin applying immediately — and introduces you to the sixth, which is so nuanced and extensive that it has its own dedicated module: Tending to Your Inner Garden.

The Six Facets:

  • Fresh Air & Sunshine — the most underestimated medicines available to you, freely

  • Hydrotherapy — the therapeutic use of water, internally and externally, to cleanse, stimulate, and restore

  • Diet & Fasting — not another diet plan, but a principled, flexible approach to nourishing and periodically resetting the body

  • Natural Medicament — powerful natural medicines to cleanse and rebuild from the inside out

  • Bodywork & Exercise — movement as medicine, including energetic movement sequences to increase vitality, strengthen immunity, and channel intention into outward action

  • Positive Mental & Emotional Attitude — the mental and emotional connection to your physical health, explored in depth in Tending to Your Inner Garden

You'll walk away with:

  • Therapeutic breathing techniques you can use anywhere, anytime

  • Therapeutic applications of water — internally and externally — for cleansing and restoration

  • The principles of scientific food combining for optimal digestion and vitality

  • Several methods of fasting, from gentle to deep

  • Several powerful natural medicines to cleanse and rebuild the body

  • Multiple series of energetic movements to increase vitality, immunity, intention, and motivated action

About Madan the Alchemist

I was twenty years old when I found the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics — young and ready to learn. I knew I was looking for a map of the energy body, an understanding of natural remedies, and the principles behind true healing. I wasn't sure exactly what I'd find there, but I was certain the answers I needed weren't going to come from the conventional world.

What happened there obliterated everything I thought I knew about health and disease. Completely transformed it.

For the first time, I encountered the terrain theory of disease — the understanding that the body is not a battlefield, that germs are not the enemy, and that illness is not something that happens to us, but something that arises within us, as a reflection of the condition of our inner environment. I learned the laws and principles of Nature Cure. I encountered the work of Lindlahr, Béchamp, Lust — thinkers who had mapped the body's intelligence with a precision and a reverence that modern medicine had largely abandoned.

It didn't just change what I knew. It changed how I saw.

But understanding the map is not the same as walking the territory.

The real shift came when I began to actually apply the practices — when I started regulating my nervous system, working with flower essences and essential oils, practicing therapeutic breathing, using cold water application, and receiving subtle and physical bodywork treatments. What happened internally astonished me. Mental and emotional shifts I hadn't anticipated. Realizations I couldn't have arrived at through reading alone. Obstacles — some of them long-standing — that simply dissolved when met with the right therapeutic tools.

That experience did two things simultaneously: it proved, beyond any doubt, that Natural Therapy is genuinely effective — not as a philosophy, but as a lived practice — and it made clear that this wasn't something I could keep to myself.

Once you understand your biological terrain and begin working with it — supporting your body's eliminative processes, nourishing it with intention, moving energy that has been stuck, tending to the nervous system that governs everything — the lifestyle stops being a discipline you impose on yourself. It becomes natural. Spontaneous. An expression of who you already are, returning to itself.

I teach this work in person and online to students around the world who are ready to stop accepting a partial picture of their health and step into the complete one. Not because it is a profession I chose — but because it is a truth I could not, in good conscience, keep to myself.

You already know, on some level, that you could feel better than you do. This is where that knowing becomes a practice.

This course is for you if:

  • You've felt let down by conventional medicine and are hungry for a deeper framework

  • You've absorbed a lot of natural health information but struggle to implement it consistently

  • You feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice and want one coherent, principled approach

  • You're drawn to natural living but want to understand the principles behind the practices — not just follow rules

  • You want tools — real, specific, repeatable tools — alongside the philosophy that makes them meaningful

  • You believe the body, mind, and spirit are connected — and want a system that treats them that way

This course is probably not for you if:

  • You're looking for a quick fix or a symptom-suppression protocol

  • You want a rigid meal plan or calorie-counting program — this is principles-based, not prescriptive

  • You're not open to questioning some of what you've been taught about how the body works

  • You want a purely physical approach with no philosophical or spiritual dimension

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior knowledge of naturopathy or natural health?
Not at all. This course is designed as a true foundation — it assumes nothing and builds everything from the ground up.

Do I need to complete Part One before Part Two?
The arc of Philosophy → Practice is the intended journey and will give you the deepest experience. That said, each part is meaningful on its own terms.

How demanding is this lifestyle to implement?
The course is designed to meet you where you are. You don't have to overhaul your life overnight — the framework is built to be adopted gradually, one facet at a time.

Is the dietary guidance compatible with my current way of eating?
The approach is principled, not prescriptive. Whether you eat meat or are fully plant-based, the principles of food combining, fasting, and nourishment apply. There is no single "correct" diet imposed here.

Do I need any special equipment for the hydrotherapy or movement practices?
Most practices require nothing beyond what you already have at home. Where any equipment is helpful, accessible and affordable options are suggested.

Is this a religious or spiritual course?
The course acknowledges the spiritual dimension of healing, but is not affiliated with any religion or doctrine. Students of all backgrounds and beliefs have found it meaningful.

How is this different from other natural health courses?
Most natural health education focuses on what to do — supplements, diets, routines — or on philosophy alone. This course gives you both: the underlying framework that makes sense of all of it, and the practical system to actually live it.

How long will I have access?
You have 1 year access to course materials.

You already sense that life could feel different than it does.

This is the foundation that makes that possible.
