The early Naturopaths were ahead of their time in recognizing that no amount of clean food, fresh air, or therapeutic water application could fully restore a person whose inner world was in a state of deep negativity: despondency and despair. Hopelessness. Degenerative grief. They understood what modern psychoneuroimmunology is only now catching up to confirm:

The body follows the mind. The mind follows the soul. Harboring pain within will not allow you to let it go without. Heal from the inside out — or the healing doesn't hold.

About this course:

I was twenty years old when the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics obliterated everything I thought I knew about health and disease — and gave me, in its place, something far more useful: a map.

The terrain theory of disease. The laws and principles of Nature Cure. The work of Drs. Lindlahr, Béchamp, and Lust. A framework so coherent, so precise, that it changed not just what I knew but how I saw.

But the map led somewhere I hadn't expected. Because as I began applying the practices — the bodywork, the breathing, the hydrotherapy, the flower essences — I found myself standing at the edge of my own inner world, realizing that tending the physical terrain was only half the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience with meditation to benefit from this module?
Not at all. The practices are designed to be accessible to complete beginners while remaining rich enough for experienced meditators to go deeper. You will be guided every step of the way.

Is this a religious module?
It is spiritual but not religious. The practices draw on universal principles of inner awareness and alignment rather than any specific tradition or doctrine. Students of all faiths — and none — have found them deeply meaningful.

How is this different from other mindfulness or meditation courses?
Most mindfulness courses focus on stress reduction and/or present-moment awareness — and those are valuable. This module goes further, working with connecting the conscious and subconscious mind, somatic (inner body) awareness, and the specific practices of the Golden Body Meditation and the Planetary Circles Manifestation Visualization, which you won't find anywhere else, as these offerings are unique to Inner Sun & Moon.

What if I find it difficult to sit with my thoughts and emotions?
That difficulty is exactly what this module is designed to work with. The tools here — particularly the somatic practices and the journaling workbook — are specifically intended for people who find traditional meditation challenging. You won't be left alone with your thoughts; you'll be given ways to work with them.
