WHY DO YOU DO THIS WORK?
Having experienced Postpartum first-hand I know the importance of having support (physical, emotional, spiritual, practical) to thrive during this period. I want to be a source of support for mothers so they can move through this life transition with greater ease. During postpartum I noticed the immense need to advocate for slowness and rest in a fast-paced world that was not made with a mother in mind.
How do you want to see your work change the world?
I want it to remind women and mothers to take care of themselves, tend to their body, mind and spirit, and receive support. As women we often put others, particularly our children, before our own needs. I want to re-write the narrative of motherhood and remind women that putting yourself first is not selfish, it is sacred and necessary to live a vital life!
